Chandler has a population of 241,000+. Mesa’s population is 450,000.Chandler has an annual budget of $851 million! Mesa’s budget is $832 million!For those complaining that Mesa wastes money, I think these figures prove that Mesa has done more with less resources than just about any other city around. I found out last night that El Mirage spends less on government per capita than Mesa.
